My "God moment"

i'm not quite sure where to put this so i chose this topic if it is in the wrong place please feel freee to move it to a more appropriate place. i hope this inspires or encourages someone.

Today as I was volunteering at the charity shop and elderly lady came in and she asked me if we had any books on tape. I told her that I would go have a look for her and I showed here where the tapes were kept. I found one which she wasn’t interested in. She told me that she was really looking for the bible on tapes. I said “oh that’s cool it’s good to experience God’s word differently, I even have a comic book bible.” She said, “That sounds interesting. I managed to find proverbs and psalms on tape.” I responded with “oo I love to read psalms when I’m down, psalm 139 is my favourite. Psalms 13 really explains me because at the beginning David is complaining to God about his life and then in the second half of the psalm he is praising God.” The elderly lady (who I’ve never met before) put her arm on me and started praying for me, out loud and in the middle of the shop. Today was a very hot day and I was sweating a lot but as soon as the lady started praying for me I got goose bumps. When she was done she said some encouraging words to me which really touched me. She told me that I am serving Jesus with my kindness. She gave me a hug and I thanked her.

i really needed this as it reaffirmed to me that God is there and he does listen to me. He sent someone i wasnt expecting but thankfully i was open to recieve.
